This proposal incorporates a mixed-use/mixed-income development with the existing Historic Oakland Cemetery. It is intended to act as a physical bridge from the MARTA station to the area south of the train tracks. It is also intended to act as a gateway into the King Historic District, giving riders/users a vision to the future (downtown Atlanta) and the past (the King Historic District and Historic Oakland Cemetery).
